Lift the GANGWAY, and collect the PUTTY underneath it. You now have access to the storeroom undetected by the SENSORS. Convince him to disable the fuse box in the stores. Get Joey to enter the storeroom and wait for him to return. Head back to the area with the BROKEN COGS and attempt to enter the storeroom to the left. Talk to Joey about upgrading his shell with a welding mod. Head back to the previous area and use the WRENCH on the ROBOT. Use your WRENCH with the COGS in the middle of the room and don't forget to pick it up before leaving. Have a conversation with him too.Įxit to the right and talk to a MAN holding a clipboard named Potts. As soon as you finish talking to her, you'll meet Gilbert Lamb, the supervisor. Once a barrel is deployed, the ELEVATOR descends and opens up a HOLE on the floor. Stand on the side of the elevator where there's a long pole.

Return to the junk room and watch the TRANSPORTER droid loading barrels onto the striped ELEVATOR. Pick up the WRENCH and the SANDWICH (if you're hungry) before he returns. This gives you an opportunity to sneak over and open his CUPBOARD. Then stand on the striped ELEVATOR, making Hobbins leave his workshop. Re-enter the junk room to converse with Joey and ask him again about starting the TRANSPORTER. Unfortunately, you wont be able to open it with Hobbins around. Use the CIRCUIT BOARD in your inventory with the ROBOT SHELL to activate Joey's AI functions. Explore the JUNK on the floor by clicking over a few of them to reveal a ROBOT SHELL.

Look for a red/white cable RUNG and collect the METAL ROD. There's a guard chain-smoking downstairs. After the intro cutscene, you'll arrive at the Union Re-Cycling Plant.
